Investment Banker and Author of Merger

View Photo

New York-based author and investment banker Sanjay Sanghoee released his first book Merger last year. The financial suspense thriller is set in New York and combines all of Sanjay's interests: investment banking, media conglomerates and Capitol Hill. In this interview we talk to Sanjay about his book, white collar crime, Wall Street and his upcoming writing projects.

Merger is about Vikram Suri, the ambitious and colorful CEO of Trident Communications, who will go to any lengths to fulfill his Merger and Acquisition (M&A) dreams. Through an extensive network of banks, brokerage houses and dummy corporations Suri resorts to market manipulation and money laundering. Tim Carter is an investment banker who unearths Suri's devious ambitions and Amanda Carter is a New York Times Journalist who is hungry for a good story.

Since graduating from Columbia University, Sanjay has been working in investment banking, and currently works for Ramius Capital, a hedge fund company. When he is not working, Sanjay spends all his free time writing. He is working on his second book and is developing a new TV drama called "The Commission." He is also trying to sell the movie rights to his book "Merger."
