Mira Nair, Kal Penn talk about their new film The Namesake. This was the opening film for the sixth annual IAAC film festival.

The films opened to a star-studded show last night (November 1, 2006) in Manhattan, New York.

Guests included Mira Nair, Mahmood Mamdani, Kal Penn, Orhan Pamuk, Madhur Jaffrey, Salman Rushdie, Padma Lakshmi, Kiran Desai, Baldev Duggal and others.
