Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi are currently traveling in the US for their production of Kaifi Aur Main . We recorded this interview on November 4, 2006 at the IAAC film fesitval in Manhattan, New York.
At the time of the interview the couple had not seen their new film Umrao Jaan, which was being shown at the IAAC film festival.
